Seskin Wind Farm is a consented c.50MW project to the northwest of Old Leighlin in Co. Carlow. It could consist of up to 7 turbines and power more than 36,000 homes.

The project was granted planning permission by An Coimisiún Pleanála in November 2025, and you can view the details for the wind farm here, and the grid route here.

Following the grant of planning permission, the wind farm is expected to be constructed and operational in 2029.
